The words

I wrote out all the words said in the chorus, so I would know exactly what I wanted to put on screen at that point. I then chose some fonts from DaFont that I used for these words. I wanted all the texts to be quite rushed looking.

Brief

Design specialism The first 6 weeks we play around and learn new things, then the other 6 weeks we specialise the project. It is like creative play, so we can play around and find new things that we like and don’t like.  Weeks 1 & 2 - Digital marketing and social media campaigns.  Week 3 & 4 - Motion and animation- working with Alex, doing motion stuff. Week 5 & 6-  Web design- design for digital screens, theory about it, looking at examples, activities.  Week 7-12 - Self-directed specialised production. We pick one area and specialise in it.  Choose something that you haven’t done very much but want to do more for.  Personal project (50%) Final digital deliverables and documentation process.  We have to have a personal blog, where we log what we learnt in the first 6 weeks. Drawing the butterfly

I decided that to add motion to the original scenery, I am going to have some butterflies flying around the trees. Then when the scenery turns dark they will go red, and disappear. I started by looking into butterflies, I chose for the butterfly that I am using is going to be a blue morpho, this is because they are very distinctive and look surreal which is the effect I want to have in the sunny scenery. I began by drawing a general shape of a blue morpho, I did this using the symmetry tool. I then coloured it by looking at a reference image. I then wanted to create a dark version that I would switch for the dark version, when the person runs past. I did this by duplicating the butterfly, then changing the hue and saturation to make it red.
